Activity 01

How they see the world?

We ask interviewees to select a series of images from other photographers and arrange them in an order that feels meaningful, helping us gain insight into their thought processes, emotional connections to photography, and how they interpret visual storytelling

Activity 02

How they see themselves?

We ask interviewees to choose one or two card from a set of abstract and thought-provoking illustrations that best captures their relationship to photography.

Insights 02
Beginner photographers often have high ambitions exceeding their knowledge and skills, which can lead to discouragement and frustration.

Insights 03
Losing photos and memories can be devastating for photography hobbyists. As one of our interviewees said, "Losing the photos, it's like losing part of myself."

Epilogue:
Photography is more than merely preserving memories; it serves as the bridge inward and outward,
linking the hobbyist to other people and their environment, while also nurturing introspection.
